CAMPAIGN GOAL
$9 million raised
The Challenge
Holy Name of Jesus Parish and School carried a shared dream of improving both parish and school facilities, particularly a long-desired gymnasium.
Repeated starts and stops had created understandable hesitation. Confidence that this attempt would be different was fragile. The challenge was not only financial, but pastoral: could the community rally around a unified vision serving both worship and formation?
The Approach
ISPD conducted a comprehensive Financial Feasibility Study, inviting broad participation through interviews, surveys, and listening processes. The resulting vision was clear and integrated.
Approximately $5 million would address critical needs: $1 million for church improvements, including interior restrooms, a bridal suite, and an accessible entrance; and $4 million for a new school building serving infants through PK3, adding second-floor restrooms and an elevator, and allowing future expansion.
The campaign established three transparent benchmarks: a $5 million goal, a $7 million stretch goal, and an $8.5 million vision goal. More than 150 individual leadership conversations anchored the effort and invited people into meaningful ownership.
The Results
With strong leadership and disciplined execution, the campaign exceeded expectations and the $8.5 million vision goal, raising more than $9 million. Construction was completed in the summer of 2026, with all elements of the integrated parish and school plan finished.
